Cairo Cityscapes

Master draftsman and cartoonist Mohamed Wahba gives a peek at his Cairo sketchbook.
view from the top of the area of Sayeda Zeinab where this center is a lot of old buildings and there is no modern buildings but a little and this area is one of the oldest areas in old Cairo where there are a lot of mosques. There are also many shrines, a busy area all the time, day and night, so much so that it is difficult to know the time except by looking at your watch. (MW)

Mohamed Wahba’s debut, ‘القاهرة’ (‘Al-Qahira’ – Cairo) was published in 2015. He is currently working on a followup, Inspiration of Cairo.
