The Lebanese and Mediterranean comic at the Comicon of Naples 2019
From 25 to 28 April at the Comicon in Naples there is also talk of Lebanese and Mediterranean comics with various authors and an exhibition.
Going by order: for the first time the graphic novel Beirut Trilogy by Lebanese artist Barrack Rima (I told you about it here), published by the Sicilian publishing house Mesogea, will be officially presented.

There will also be Elettra Stamboulis who is the director of Cartographic, the Mesogea series dedicated to Mediterranean comics, as well as the author of Piccola Gerusalemme, the first graphic novel that inaugurated the series.
Then there is a comics exhibition dedicated to migrant journeys in the Mediterranean which is titled Migrating, shouting, dreaming, which includes works by various Italian and Arab artists: Gipi, Barrack Rima, Marco Rizzo and Lelio Bonaccorso, Francesca Mannocchi and Gianluca Costantini , Othman Selmi, Migo, Nadia Dhab, Maya Mihindou, Ahmed Ben Nessib, Salim Zerrouki.
The tables of the Arab authors have been translated by Luce Lacquaniti and are part of a volume edited by the Lab619 collective dedicated to migration that will be published in Italian by Fortepressa.
