Egypt - 1985
Ahmed Saad - also known as Saad - is an Egyptian artist born in Ismailia City in 1985. In 2008 he moved to Cairo to start his career as a layout designer for big names such as “Ihna" magazine, “Campus” and “G-mag”.
Later on he switched to advertising and worked as an art director and copywriter in few multi-national advertising agencies such as “Impact BBDO” and “JWT”. Saad is also known for his character “Shehta the Magician” which was published in many issues of TokTok magazine.
Postscript: It's interesting to note that Saad did not attend a fine arts college due to failing the entrance exam, but still went on to have a successful career in the creative industry.
مصر - ١٩٨٥
أحمد سعد، الملقّب بـ"سـعـد": فنان مصري من مواليد عام 1985 ولد وترعرع بمدينة الإسماعيلية ثم انتقل إلى القاهرة في عام ٢٠٠٨ ليبدأ حياته العملية كمصمم مطبوعات لأسماء عريقة مثل مجلة "احنا"، "Campus" ، و"G-mag".
انتقل بعدها للعمل في مجال الإعلانات كمدير فني وكاتب نصوص إعلانية في العديد من الوكالات الإعلانية العالمية مثل “Impact BBDO” و “JWT”. شارك "سعد" في العديد من الشرائط المصوّرة comics أشهرها مجلة "توك توك" التي نشر بها العديد من مغامرات "الساحر شحتة" الشخصية الكارتونية المشهورة.
ملحوظة : من المثير للاهتمام أن سعد لم ينجح في امتحان الدخول في كلية الفنون الجميلة، ومع ذلك تمكن من النجاح في حياته المهنية وفي صناعة الإبداع.
