Palestine
Palestine speaks through his cartoons. A Palestinian cartoonist and doctor born in Gaza in 1972. He draws for various different Arabic and Palestinian newspapers.
He came in second place in the Arab Cartoon Award for the year 2013, in its second edition which Dar Al Sharq announced its results in the margins of the opening of the 24th Doha International Book Fair where 158 Arabic cartoonists competed with 408 works of art. Allagta participated with a work of art entitled “The Syrian Scene (Scenario)” dedicated to his parents God rest their souls.
Alaa Allagta sees that caricature for him is the art of the bitter laughter in which the artist reflects the citizen’s concerns, the society issues, and the reality contradictions in simple lines and few words. He played an important role during the war on Gaza in 2014, which was represented by portraying the real image of the occupier crimes and his brutality as well as exposing the complicity of the Palestinians and Arabs in this attack through tightening the embargo and the attempts to break the will.
فلسطين
يترك فلسطين تتحدث من خلال رسوماته. فنان كاريكاتور وطبيب فلسطيني من مواليد غزة 1972 ، يرسم في عدة صحف عربية وفلسطينية مختلفة.
فاز بالمركز الثاني بجائزة الكاريكاتور العربي لعام 2013، في نسختها الثانية التي أعلنت دار الشرق نتائجها على هامش افتتاح معرض الدوحة الدولي الرابع والعشرين، حيث تنافس على الجائزة 158 فنان عربي ب 408 عمل فني. شارك اللقطة بلوحة فنية بعنوان «المشهد السوري» وأهداها إلى روح والديه رحمهما الله.
يرى علاء اللقطة أن فن الكاريكاتور بالنسبة له هو: فن الضحك المر الذي يختزل فيه الفنان هموم المواطن وقضايا المجتمع وتناقضات الواقع في خطوط بسيطة وكلمات مقتضبة. فقد لعب دورا مهما خلال الحرب على غزة 2014، تمثل في نقل الصورة الحقيقية لجرائم المحتل ووحشيته، وفضح تواطئ الأشقاء الفلسطينيين والعرب في هذا العدوان من خلال إحكام الحصار ومحاولات كسر الإارادة.
