Saudi
Fahad Al-Khamis is a Saudi cartoonist, born in 1976 in Saudi Arabia, where he currently lives and works. He started his career in Al-Madina newspaper in 1998 and then moved to Al-Eqtisadiah newspaper of the Saudi Research and Publishing Group in 2004 where he still works there today.
Fahd uses the caricature as a means to express his opinions, build valuable arguments and provide the reader with specific knowledge about contemporary social and political issues.
It draws in different styles and uses the digital tools for drawing and coloring and gives the composition of the drawing an important meaning. His drawing is rich in movement and life and is influenced by any scene he encounters in everyday life shadows even if he is small or passing.
His drawings are characterized by the ability to simplify the truth with the addition of a cynical message of criticism, and turn it into a vital element to criticize what is happening in his environment,
Al-Khamisi was invited to Cairo in 1999 by Al-Madina Newspaper to participate in a training course at the Egyptian Cartoons Society under the direct supervision of the late artist Mustafa Hussein. In 2002, he was nominated from Saudi Arabia to visit the United States under the name of International Visitor which included visits and interviews with leading cartoonists such as Kevin Kahl and David Horsy. He has also recently participated in the International Cartooning Festival in Canada.

فهد الخميس هو رسام كاريكاتور سعودي، ولد في السعودية عام 1976 حيث يقيم ويعمل حالياً. بدأ سيرته المهنية في صحيفة المدينة عام 1998 ومن ثم إنتقل إلى صحيفة الإقتصادية التابعةللمجموعة السعودية للأبحاث والنشر عام 2004 حيث مازال يعمل هناك حتى اليوم.
يستخدم فهد الكاريكاتور كوسيلة للتعبير عن آرائه، وبناء الحجج القيمة وتوفير للقارئ معرفة محددة حول القضايا الاجتماعية والسياسية المعاصرة.
يرسم بأنماط مختلفة ويستخدم الأدوات الرقمية للرسم والتلوين ويعطي تركيبة الرسمة أهمية بالغه
رسمه غني بالحركة والحياة ومتأثر بأي مشهد يصادفه في الحياة اليومية يخض خيالة حتى لو كان صغيراً أو عابراً.
وتتميز رسوماته بالقدرة على تبسيط الحقيقة مع إضافة رسالة نقد تشوبها السخرية، ويحولها إلى عنصر حيوي لإنتقاد ما يحدث في بيئته،
دعي الخميسي إلى القاهرة عام 1999 من قبل صحيفة المدينة وذلك للمشاركة في دورة تدريبية لدى الجمعية المصرية للكاريكاتور وتحت إشراف مباشر من الفنان الراحل مصطفى حسين، ورشح عام 2002 من المملكة العربية السعودية لزيارة الولايات المتحدة الأمركية تحت مسمى الزائر الدولي تخللتها زيارة ومقابلات مع كبار رسامي الكاريكاتور أمثال كيفن كال و ديفيد هورسي، كما وشارك مؤخراً في مهرجان التجمع الدولي لرسم الكاريكاتور في كندا.
وحاز على العديد من الجوائز ومنها: جائزة وزارة الحج لأفضل رسام كاريكاتور عام 2010، جائزة المركز الأول لمسابقة الجمعية السعودية للكاريكاتور والرسوم المتحركة عام 2011، بالإضافة إلى جائزة المركز الثاني لمسابقة الجمعية السعودية للكاريكاتور والرسوم عام 2012.
