He loved drawing since childhood and always wished to join Faculty of Fine Arts. His wish came true as he majored in the Art of Cartoons. He graduated in 1999 and worked at several cartoon companies in Cairo.
In 2002, he travelled to Kuwait and worked at an animation production company. Then he moved to Al-Qabs newspaper but did not find any opportunity to work in caricature, so he resigned and started work at a regional learning software development center.
His effective debut in the world of journalism and caricature was in 2008 when he moved to Arruya Kuwaiti newspaper. With the deterioration of work conditions at the newspaper, he moved to Al-Jarida newspaper in 2010 where he still works up to this date, in addition to Al-Ruuya Emirati newspaper in which he published a weekly caricature.
He participated in several Arab awards, including Arab Journalism Award which he won in 2012 and 2018. He got the first place at the Arab Caricature Contest in 2013.
Most of his works in Al-Jarida newspaper tackle local politics, whereas in Al-Ruuya newspaper, they are more about the Arab region and the world.
كان يحب الرسم منذ طفولته وكانت أمنيته الإلتحاق بكلية الفنون الجميلة، فتحققت أمنيته وتخصّص في «فن الكتاب والرسوم المتحركة» وتخرج عام 1999، وعمل بعدها في القاهرة في العديد من شركات الرسوم المتحركة.
سافر إلى الكويت في عام 2002 وبدأ العمل في شركة تنتج أفلام كرتون ورسوم متحركة. ثم إلتحق للعمل في صحيفة القبس، ولكنه لم يجد فرصة سانحة للعمل في مجال الكاريكاتور فإستقال من الصحيفة للعمل في مركز إقليمي لإنتاج البرمجيات التعليمية.
كانت بدايته الحقيقية في عالم الصحافة والكاريكاتور عام ٢٠٠٨، حيث انتقل للعمل في صحيفة الرؤية الكويتية. وعندما بدأ العمل داخل الصحيفة يسوء ، إنتقل إلى العمل في صحيفة الجريدة في عام 2010، وما زال يعمل بها حتى اليوم إلى جانب صحيفة الرؤية الإماراتية التي ينشر فيها كاريكاتور بشكل أسبوعي.
شارك في العديد من الجوائز العربية منها جائزة الصحافة العربية التي حصل عليها في عام 2012 وفي عام 2018. كما حصل على المركز الأول في جائزة الكاريكاتور العربي عام 2013.
يتغلب على أعماله في صحيفة الجريدة الطابع السياسي المحلي، أما أعماله في صحيفة الرؤية فيتغلب عليها الطابع العربي والعالمي.
