He draws reality as is through caricature and uncovers diplomatic equivocation in daily politics.
Antoine Ghanem is a Lebanese artist with a BA in Interior Design and MA in Calligraphy and Advertising. He is an arts professor at Saint Joseph University and Holy Spirit University of Kaslik. He is the head of Lebanese Syndicate of Court Experts in Writing and chairperson of the Unified Solidarity Fund for Lebanese Artists.
He is the owner of Atelier Afkar and a caricaturist at Al Joumhouria newspaper and OTV channel. He won the golden medal and the high distinction award in caricature at Studio Al Fan in 1993. He then started publishing his drawings in Lebanese newspapers and TV stations. Several thesis and dissertations revolved around his works.
Antoine Ghanem was the first to draw faces at LBC TV station. He won various medals as well as local and nternational awards in drawing and photography. One of his drawings was at the forefront of the International Gallery of Art in Washington and he has received the US Department of State Certificate from the International Visitor Leading Program. He has signed more than 400 expressionism book and has 5 books of comic strips and political caricature published in Arabic, English and French.
Antoine Ghanem masters the game of words in caricature and believes that without it, there is no need for words in drawings.

إنّه الفنان اللّبناني أنطوان غانم، الذي تخرّج بإختصاص هندسة داخلية ودراسات عليا في فنون التخطيط والإعلان. هو أستاذ الفنون في جامعتي القديس يوسف والروح القدس، ونقيب خبراء تدقيق الخطوط وكشف التزوير في لبنان. كما شغل منصب رئيس مجلس إدارة صندوق التعاضد الموحّد للفنانين اللّبنانيين.
هو صاحب محترف «أفكار»، ورسام كاريكاتور في جريدة الجمهورية وقناة أوتي في. حاز على الميدالية الذهبية وجائزة التقدير العالي من إستديو الفن عن فئة الكاريكاتور عام ١٩٩٣، حيث بدأ بنشر رسومه في الصحف اللبنانية ومحطات التلفزة. تناولت فنه العديد من الدراسات العليا والدكتوراه.
كان أنطوان غانم أول من رسم الوجوه على تلفزيون «ال بي سي»، نال الكثير من الدروع والجوائز المحلية والعالمية في الرسم والتصوير الفوتوغرافي. تصدرت رسمته المعرض الدولي في واشنطن، ونال شهادة وزارة الخارجية الأميركية كزائر القيادة الدولي. يرد توقيعه على أكثر من أربعمئة كتاب في الرسوم التعبيرية، كما له خمسة كتب في الشرائط المصورة والكاريكاتور السياسي باللغة العربية والانكليزية والفرنسية .
يتقن أنطوان غانم فنّ لعبة الكلام في الكاريكاتور ويعتبر أن بدونها لا مبرّر للكلام في الرسوم.
