Jordan - 1978
Omar Al Abdallat is a Jordanian caricaturist and producer born in London in 1978. His interaction with pressing issues that concern people has gone beyond caricature. He is a seasoned trainer and lecturer in creative production, drawing, caricature, creative thinking, and social engagement through art. He is also an activist on social media and has won several awards. He has a rebellious personality and influential energy that he uses to advocate for women's and youth rights, speak in public, and motivate others.
His prominent social standing is matched by his activity in the field of art, as he has a rich artistic output, having published more than 2,000 cartoons and 1000 videos. Many of his cartoon characters have become national symbols associated with Jordanians and youth, such as "Awad Abu Shufa," "Abu Samra," "Sheikh Khafash," and "Al Za'im."
He is an active member of the Cartoon Movement and has won several international awards for his work in animation and social activism, such as the YouTube Silver Award for the program "Ala Rasi," the Arab Spring Award from "This is Amsterdam" in the Netherlands, and the "Naji Al-Ali" award in Turkey.

رسام كاريكاتير ومنتج أردني مواليد لندن 1978. تعدّى تفاعله مع القضايا الحياتية التي تشغل بال الناس الورقة والقلم، فهو مدرب متمرس ومحاضر في الإنتاج الإبداعي، الرسم والكاريكاتير، التفكير الإبداعي، والتفاعل الاجتماعي عبر الفن. كما أنه ناشط في وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي وحائز على عدة جوائز للتميز عبر التفاعل الإلكتروني. شخصيته ثائرة، وحيويته مؤثرة في المجتمع، فهو داعية للتغيير وداعية لحقوق المرأة والشباب، ومتحدث عام ومحفز ذائع السيط.
هذا الدور الاجتماعي البارز يقابله نشاط في ميدان الفن، فهو غزير الانتاج الفني: نشر أكثر من ألفي كاريكاتير وألف فيديو، والعديد من شخصياته الكرتونية التي صممها أصبحت رموزا وطنية مرتبطة بالأردنيين والشباب، مثل "عوض أبو شفة" و "أبو سمرة"، "الشيخ خفاش" و "الزعيم".
عضو ناشط في حركة Cartoon Movement، فاز بالعديد من الجوائز العالمية عن عمله في الرسوم المتحركة والنشاط الاجتماعي، مثل جائزة اليوتيوب الفضية لبرنامج "على راسي" ، وجائزة الربيع العربي من "This is Amsterdam" في هولندا، وجائزة "ناجي العلي" في تركيا.
