Abdul Halim Al Qamati, a Libyan artist born on January 1, 1975, in Al-Marj, is a distinguished fine artist, cartoonist, and scenographer. With a degree in Art Education in 1994, he has contributed over 25 years of satirical cartoons to local, regional, and international publications. Notable works include contributions to Al-Shallal, Al-Marj, and Al-Wasat newspapers, as well as several digital platforms.
As the founder of the Cartoon House in Libya, Qamati has participated in and organized numerous local and international exhibitions, showcasing his work in venues such as the Misrata Art Exhibition in 1993 and the International Cartoon Forum in Egypt from 2014 to 2020. His cartoons have received acclaim, including awards like the International Human Rights Award in France in 2017 and the Naji Al-Ali Award in Jordan in 2014.
In scenography, Qamati has designed and executed theatrical sets for plays across Libya, earning multiple awards for his contributions. He is a member of the City Theater and the Libyan Syndicate of Fine Arts and has been honored locally and internationally for his artistic achievements. His paintings are part of collections in France and Italy, among others.

عبد الحليم القماطي، فنان ليبي من مواليد 1 يناير 1975 بمدينة المرج، فنان تشكيلي، رسام كاريكاتير، ومصمم ديكور مسرحي. حصل على بكالوريوس تربية فنية عام 1994 وقدم لأكثر من 25 عاماً رسوماً ساخرة لصحف محلية وإقليمية ودولية، منها صحف الشلال، المرج، والوسط، إلى جانب مواقع إلكترونية.
كمؤسس لبيت الكرتون في ليبيا، شارك في معارض محلية ودولية، أبرزها معرض الفنون بمصراتة عام 1993 والملتقى الدولي للكاريكاتير بمصر من عام 2014 إلى 2020. حاز على جوائز عدة منها جائزة حقوق الإنسان الدولية في فرنسا عام 2017 وجائزة ناجي العلي في الأردن عام 2014.
في مجال السينوغرافيا، صمم القماطي مشاهد مسرحية لأعمال عُرضت في أنحاء ليبيا، وحصد جوائز تقديرية. وهو عضو بمسرح المدينة ونقابة الفنون التشكيلية الليبية، وحظي بتكريمات عديدة محلياً ودولياً. لوحاته مقتناة في فرنسا وإيطاليا وجهات محلية.
